£35,143 - £41,341 per annum
39 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday to Sunday 08:00 - 16:00. Working 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis, with an additional 15% allowance on basic salary.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and support the delivery of facilities management services, ensuring compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Promote a strong health, safety and compliance culture, ensuring best practice is followed at all times.
  • Supervise and motivate teams to deliver high-quality services across the prison estate.
  • Build effective working relationships with HMPPS stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring service excellence.
  • Monitor performance, identify issues early and drive prompt resolution through effective communication and leadership.
  • Contribute to the smooth, safe and efficient operation of a critical justice facility.

 

What You Will Bring

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • A calm, organised approach with the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience within facilities management, estates management or a similar operational environment.
  • Experience using CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) systems.
Desirable:
  • Facilities Management qualification.
  • IOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety training.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates will be required to undergo Prison Security Clearance and an Enhanced DBS check with Child Barring verification. Amey will support you throughout the clearance process.
